The Mud Puppy for BASS is 7 1/2 inches long, New on the market. Best representation of
the Mud Puppy for BASS! This eel is a huge 7 1/2"long and comes in 15 different colors

with 8 eels in a package. The creator of the Mudd Puppy told me that the Mud Puppys are
irrastable to Bass. They can be riged Texas style or a Carolina rig. Best hook to use is a #5
off set worm hook. The action of the natural Mud Puppy is to go from the bottom to the
surface for air and back to the bottom to hide this motion is where the eel is most vulnerable.
These eels are as close to the real thing as you can get. According to the Florida wildlife
Commission, for a long time now people have been catching there own Mud puppy's and
this is how.

The Lesser Sirens are many times called mud pupplies or water dogs, two-legged Mud Pupplies are
found in most lakes,streams and ditches, but are difficult to collect. Experts advise building a
3-foot-square wooden frame out of 1-inch by 4-inch material and stretching a 1/8-inch hardware cloth
over the frame. You then run this sieve under floating hyacinth and lift it into a boat or carry it to shore.
As the hyacinths are picked up mud pupplies will fall off. Bass anglers swear
Bass love this bait so much they won't let go, even when the hook has not penetrated.

NOTE:

The Mud Puppy was tried in saltwater on a Texas Rig and the Snook and Red Fish like
it as well and I would not be surprised if the mackerel, Blue Fish and Stripe Bass
also take a fancy to this Mud Puppy.

As lakes warm in the spring time, largemouth bass move into shallow cover
in coves, canals, and rivers. They seek warming water offered by these
spots that also provide plentiful baitfish. Bass are hungry and eager to
feed, but not yet aggressive in cool water. They can be spooky in these
shallow areas that also tend to be clear.Try fishing weightless or nearly
weightless softbaits, including stickbaits, tubes, worms, and lizards.
Weightless lures sink slowly and look life-like as they rest among the
vegetation. In deeper areas or if it's breezy, a 1/16-ounce weight makes
it easier to present the baits.
