Insect Repelent Tip

 Insect Repellent Tip:

I have been the type of person that seems to have a built in dinner bell
for Mosquito's, Nat's, Green flies, No See-ums and any thing else that
might like a quick bite. I have tried just about every insect repellent I
could find in my neighborhood Some worked better than others but
I would come home
looking like I had the start of a case of the Mumps
or Chicken Pox
with all the insect bits that I received. The other Problem
that I have with
Insect repellents is, I do not like the idea that I could
get sick or poisoned
from the products I was using.( Have you ever read
the label wornings? )
I have received an email from a friend telling me
what the
post office suggests to the delivery mail men and women in
there area.
The product Bounce dryer sheets can be tied to your
belt loops one on
each side of you or pinned to your shirt with a safety pin.
There is something
in the dryer sheet that biting and stinging bugs just
do not like and they just avoid you.
The sheets have a pleasant fragrance
and no poisons to seep into your skin.

Tip:

For your Dog:

If you like to bring Fido on fishing trips or hunting trips and he/she likes to go into the
water for a fun time or retrieve your bird this is great but at the end of the day when you
give the dog a clean water rince and towl dry, your pet will still have the smell of WET DOG.
To elimate this take the dryer sheets you had pined to you to protect from insects and
wipe your pet down with the sheets and the oder of wet dog is now a plesent fragrance.

Tips for Bait :

FISH ATTRACTANT:

Ever have one of those days no matter what
you put on the end of your line the fish seem
to avoid it? Here is something to try.

I have used it and well I did get more hits and a few nice trout .

Put together, 2 ounces of cod liver oil and 20 drops of anise, Mix well.
Store in a small jar. I used small Baby food jar. Dip your bait or lure in
the mixture and fish as usual. I can say trout like it . It is called an
all around fish attractant .

#1 TIP For Red Fish:
Natural food choices, and not seasonality will dictate what types of baits to use,
when fishing for Redfish. Crabs and shrimp are the primary food source for
redfish during the cooler months. Baitfish such as pinfish and sardines will be
the primary food for the redfish during the warmer months when the water is warmer,
the baitfish are more active and plentiful. You will find redfish in the same areas
as you would in the Spring. As Summer comes in it will bring more heat.
When the temperature goes up redfish will slow down and become sluggish,
then behave much as they do in the winter. When this happens,
slow the presentation down.

Technique:
Site cast to fish or to area where fish may be holding. Allow bait to sink to
bottom and then begin steady retrieve, while twitching the tip of the rod
